Hey Folks:
The ZF on my 71 seems to be leaking from the rear cap, looks like a few nuts have worked loose. I am wondering what the specific torque settings should be. Please advise.

Hello Jack,
the book says 1.5 to 2.0 kpm.
Don't remove the cover as there are some parts that will come with the cover, mainly a shaft and this will result in disassembly of the gear box, the trans is suppose to be assembled with cover straight up on a bench.

That equates to 10.8 lbs ft to 14.5 lbs ft.
