I live in Australia and purchased a Pantera recently but the engine and transmission had been stolen. I am looking at purchasing a dash 2 zf in this country but have dicovered that the unit was involved in a high speed accident and that it was jumping out of 5th gear before that.The unit has been inspected by a friend and seems to turnover ok though he could not activate the gearchange by hand. Is there any obvious reason for jumping gear and what sort of costs are likely to be involved in rectifying? Does anyone know if there is someone down here who can service these units?
