ZF vent tube

...I ran the vent tube to a little 1 oz. plastic catch bottle(vented), strapped to the crossmember. Been there for thousands of miles; I have yet to See a single drop of oil come out of that hose! or spray or fumes, etc...

Well at least you know your not over filling it...:-)

Its a Pantera, You can do better than a Tube,,, Come on now,,,,,,,

The breather comes with a 1/2" or 3/4" hose / hose clamp on it, Inside D of about 1/4". Slides right over the stock ZF fitting.

Heck if my engine bay looked like yours, I would leave my trunk out too. But where else would you put your beer cooler???

What can I use to plug into the ZF so I can get one of those breather caps? I just have to hole in mine, the plug is missing also.

??? Looks like a stock post/part, about 1/4" x 1". can not tell how its mounted "screw/pressed in" ??? Maybe one of the vendor sell them. I know they sell a SS tube that goes in the hole and runs to the back of the ZF,you have to remove the post to install the SS tube,,, looks real good. I think its about $110.00,(SS tube)

Dont have the part # , got them at the local auto parts stores( Kragen/auto zone)You know. I think there a filter for a "rice rocket" or something. You have to look at the hole in the bottom,(Some have a larger hole) To big for the ZF vent post, Look around you'll find one that fit the post,,, about 1/4" inside D. I think they are only about 4 or 5 bucks.
