I must have missed the Aviad posting, as I do not recall this.
I think the Aviad advice is good for a full custom system, perhaps? Where you are building your own dipstick tube, etc?
Ford calculated where the oil should be in relation to the crank, etc. THAT is the correct mark on the dipstick. And as long as you have followed the Pantera TSB on proper length, and you continue to use the OEM Pantera system, your oil fill point remains the same with any wet sump pan.
