Barry, Not as rich as you think. In order to realize the monetary gain you will have to sell your car to some stranger (EEEK)never to be seen again. Also one needs to understand that once sold you will most likely never own one again as the market will most likely price you out.

To all owners: Enjoy the car until you are truly done with it or move on to a bigger car. If you make a profit then that's just a bonus on top of all the wonderful years you spent with it. Something to ponder.

right to the point ItalFord ! so it is.... but i also must be afraid of Andyuk's words... as my GT5S is original and only 10k miles...i already found it onresponsable to "enjoy" it in regularity rallys... for which i bought now the BMW CS with //M5 engine...in fact , i already made it a garage queen but in perfect road worthy condition... gonne keep it that way , but selling ? nonono !

thanks for those words ! ofcourse, what we see is a asking price .... nothing in reality with selling prices. But good news they are upgrading and why not ? if you see a Bizzarini with Chevy engine in the 500K $ range????? our Panteras are that inferior ?? don't think so.

I'm gonne charisch that car for my children and hope it stays there ! My dream was a BMW M1 , which is now in the price range of 200k € but would doubt to swap it now , even for a similar condition car ... no way Big Grin
I've been watching the market for the GT5-S pretty closely over the last several years. I have seen a lot of "asking", but very few actual sales at these high numbers.

I know of at least 9 GT5-S cars (about 5% of all built) on the market currently (plus one more that may have sold). Most are in Europe of course where everything is more expensive.

The average asking price (of all cars currently on the market) is $163K USD. I can't help but wonder if some of these are owners attempting to "cash-out". There certainly are a lot of cars for the potential (and wealthy) buyer to choose from. I wish that included me.

Mark
