bummer none of the chrome pieces are left all painted red. Makes the car look very 80's.
Paint can be removed. The painted pieces are stainless
Actually, there’s very little stainless on the Longchamp. Most of the trim is chromed steel like the Mangusta. Can you explain more about the reason such a low mileage car needed new sheet metal in the front and a new interior? Thanks,
The ebay auction is very low so far considering they only made 409 Longchamps.
I agree it is low, but a lot of work will be involved if someone doesn’t want an all-red custom Longchamp. Last week I counted 12 Longchamps (in addition to this one) for sale, and today I was made aware of three more that just came to market. I don’t know what is going on, but I think my Longchamp is now worth much less than it was a few years ago. But I don’t care because it’s a fantastic car to drive.
It is one of the great misconceptions of cars. Rare does not equate to expensive. The Longchamp is a pleasure to drive and like it’s sibling Maserati the stick shift was down right a blast. The convertibles will always be rare and will get the top dollar.
