Are those TRI CLOVER Sanitary Fittings and clamps .. great idea ... as a sughestion Swedgeloc makes a nicer fitting then the std aluminum hose fittings.

I have the same type of heat exchanger (Laminova). I originally had it mounted in my engine compartment but it was always in the way, so I found a way to mount it in-line with the coolant pipes, under the car.

Nice install, David. Do you feel additional heat in the driver's compartment from the heat exchanger in that location?

To be honest, I haven't fired it up yet. I can't see it being any worse than the OE coolant tubing. Since this photo was taken, I've also had all of my cooling system tubing jet hot coated, which should help to keep some of the radiant heat inside the tubing.
