Rain was forecast this afternoon so we didnt have a very big turnout at the Atlanta Donut Derelicts. Because of the rain in Atlanta, I decided to make a quick run up to Seattle in the Pantera and headed out to my old home town on the Olympic Peninsula and then on to Lake Crescent. While we were at the lake, and though the magic of the Internet, I was able to snap a nice picture of the Pantera by the old family cabin. You can see Storm King mountain in the background. Luckily it didnt rain, as you know I do not let water get on the Pantera, ever! I posted the picture at http://www.PanteraPlace.com/Mikes%20Pantera/Mikes%20Pantera%20at%20Lake%20Crescent.JPG

Some of you contacted me to tell me that you really liked the photo of the Pantera at Lake Crescent but you were disappointed that in my haste to snap the photo and get back on the road that I cut off the back wheel of the car. So with the awesome speed of the Pantera and the power of the Internet I shot back out to the lake and took another photo of the car before the clouds even moved. You can find the new photo in the Photo Gallery under Seattle Pantera Travels at http://www.PanteraPlace.com I removed the old image so the direct URL I posted in the the first message will not work anymore.
Mike,
I have a calender with a picture of your old
family cabin. You must be famous or sumptin.

Warren V. #1799 PS I just installed the same wheel and tire combination on my 71 black cherry metallic with GTS flares. They look great. Thanks for doing all the leg work and research. Your web site is great.
I was halfway through your post before I realized your trip to my hometown of Seattle was "virtual". Good thing, too. This is not a good road trip destination for those avoiding rain. However if you do actually come up to the NW the summers are incredible and generally last from August 10 to about August 14...Truly beautiful. I'll drive my pantera whenever the sun makes an appearance. This translates into about 3000 miles per year.
Keep up the good work on your website.
