No, easier to get to them from under just in front of the rear wheel on the pass side. Jack it up enough to make it easier, then if your hoses are long enough you can see the sight glass with guages in hand, if you are just topping off the charge, be carefull not to overcharge, it will seize the compressor. Don't worry about completely clearing the sightglass, flashing is still ok if the engine is warm and the ambiant is warm with lower engine rpm's
