They could be Koni. Look on the body of the shock and see if there is a crest, crown on top, with wings extending out from the crest. That is the Koni Logo. Use a mirror if needed. Somewhere on that shock is a name unless they were made for a Pantera vendor who might not have put his company name on it.

Many of us get around that problem by reading the posts at the archives. They post just about in real-time, and you can view what you want, when you want. Preferences for the forum allow you to set it up to NOT receive the emails, or even the daily digest. You retain your posting rights, view postings at the archives, and have nothing in your inbox.

Here is a reply I received:

The color is simlar to older Konis but those didn't have adjustable spring
perches or solid bushings needing grease zerks, unless someone modified them for
the above (Pat Mical in MA does this). They might have an ID plate at the
bottom- I couldn't tell from the photo. Non-gas Konis had p/n 82-1701-SP1 (frt) &
82-1601SP1 (rear) stamped into the body near the bottom. You'll probably have
to remove & disassemble them to be sure.
The shocks are off....NO numbers or markings of any kind. They have 16 clicks on the adjustment screw. This screw adjusts BOTH the compression and rebound damping. The springs are the same OD and wire dia. as the stock springs. Anyone know what brand these are ? The rears have leaked oil from the adjustment screw....Im wondering if they can be rebuilt...
