My wife wants me to fix it !
I know this is going to be a battle with both insurance companies.
I'll call Dennis Quella tomorrow and get some advice. He rebuilt my ZF years ago and has provided me with a lot of parts and good advice in the past. I'm sure he knows exactly how to move forward from here.
One side is still good !

As others have said, at least no one was hurt, but it is heartbreaking to see nevertheless. We all take so much pride in our beautiful cars, just to have a careless driver wipe years of work out in a split second. Hopefully you'll get complete cooperation from your insurance company, and it will be whole again. It would be a shame to not have her ride again.
Agree with John, it is repairable.

You may recall my Monterey accident in August of 2015. At the time, some said it was beyond repair. Working with my repair shop, we presented an estimate to State Farm that was... eventually... accepted. No salvage title.

Embarrassingly, this was my second accident with 2511. So, I certainly have some useful been there-done that experience you may find of value.

Sending you a PM with contact info should you wish to talk.

Larry, if I remember right, I painted my car the same color as yours. You were kind enough to share it with me several years ago.

Tajon, before we were done several neighbor kids and their parents kept us company while we were waiting for the tow truck. We made good use of the time by talking to them about cross walks and bike lanes and how it is not good enough to be in the "right". You always have to use caution and look out for yourself. That woman would have killed anyone in that bike lane. As I said before...absolutely no evidence of using the brakes before or after the impact.

looking at this as the driver, the maximum property damage policy my agent could sell is $100,000. So I added a million $ umberla

I would think ABS would leave a faint trace of rubber, BUT when it lost one wheel, the ABS might have thought that wheel was skidding and reduce breaking to all wheel. at least one of the two hydrualic circuit
I'm not a specialist but I know that modern ABS react very fast, dozens of times per second and act on each wheel separately, so even with one wheel pulled the other three continue to brake, but I'm not sure of all that leaves visible traces.

Technically a good bodybuilder can (almost?) made everything, the real question is purely economic with the insurance and I wish you find a good agreement.
