Any tips or tricks to spring/shock removal and replacement?

Did any mounting spacers come with the shocks?

I run Qa1's also, if your going to lowering the car below stock, most everyone does. I would suggest using 10inch springs on the front, and the 12inch on the back. You will be able to lower the front and not run out of adjustment threads on the shock body. You can call QA1 www.halshocks.com/

I got the regular qa1 5855 poly bushing shocks. The supplied bushings and inner sleeve seem about the same width as the stock old shock ends. I hope it fits and no spacers are needed. Guess i will find out. I did purchase 12" springs front and rear, as I can not lower the car anymore than already is, or will not be able to get it into my garage. But will certainly consider swapping out to 10" fronts on the future.
Seems like it should be fairly painless (I hope). Is it really necessary to remove the either the upper or lower front A arms to install the front coilovers? Plus does anyone have spec for standard ground clearance?

Just remove the two bolts that attach the lower ball joint to the A arm and swing (lower) the A arm out of the way. This will not affect the alignment, but changing the ride height will.
