It appears that B&M does not carry the dogbone /hammerhead shaped air cleaner anymore. I heard this in stock formation was a restrictive setup and modifying it by adding a second filter element to the ends of the dogbone would solve that problem. I just need to find the right filter element which was not readily in the the K&N catalog. Anyone know where to go? Thanks

Holley also sells the low profile (dog bone) style air filter assembly, Holley stock number 64280. It looks identicle to the B&M version, but I do not know if they use the same dimension air filter. Holley lists two replacement filters, part number 120-149 is described as a foam air filter, part number 90633 is described as a power shot air filter.
I think that the spacer that they're referring to is the ring that goes between the filter and the carb. I read somewhere that stacking the filters doesn't increase air flow. One thing that I do know that stacking the filters will increase your chances of losing the filter and end caps. The filters being flexible don't allow proper tightening of the hold down bolts which loosen and fall off (even with locktite). I know two guys here that lost their filters and end caps doing this. They don't sell the end caps seperately either.
