Depends on why you want such a hood. There are carbon fiber hoods, and then there are carbon-fiber/fiberglas hoods. The latter are cheaper as the carbon fiber is simply an overlay that shows through the resin. Weight savings are minimal over a plain fiberglas hood. You'll have to inquire of the sellers as to what they are actually selling.True carbon fiber hoods are very expensive, extremely light and stiff, and are probably wasted on all but pro racecars whose owners are looking to knock a thousand pounds or so off the portly wt of a street Pantera.
