I like the noise this car makes. But...
1) between 75 and 90mph it "booms" from behind, really headache inducing. I read about this in an article in "Pantera Ultimate Portfolio", don't remember which article though.
So is this normal? Why does it happen, can it be avoided, or do I just have to drive faster than 90mph?
2) I have a similar noise below 2000rpm when the A/C comes is on, not totally the same but close. It disappears when above 2000rpm

Any ideas. I like noise, but not that kind...

I imagine it has everything to do with resonance in the exhaust system at certain load points. I remember my dads car being that way. Dont know how you would fix it short of exhaust redesigning but someone else might have an idea.
