The valve that drops the front brake pressure in my front brake lines is leaking from under the rubber cap. I assume there is a seal of some type that needs replacing. Is this a commercially available seal or do I need to contact some one for a special rebuild kit? Who would carry the kit if required?
Thanks
Richard

The simplest way to fix this is to take the entire assembly and put it on a shelf or in the garbage, or send it to one of the Pantera parts vendors who will 'gut' the unit, weld the big hole up & return it to be used as a distribution block, in case you can't re-flare the lines that go in & out of this thing. It limits pressure to the front tires, which provide most of the stopping power. In addition, the valve is permsanently "adjusted" for stock wheels & tires: 7"x 15 front & 8" x15 rears carrying 185-70x 15 belted-bias (f) 7 205-70x 15 (r). The balence is utterly wrong for ALL other wheel & tire sizes. You'll likely be astounded at the increase in stopping force you'll get with totally stock brakes, with this thing gone.
