Camshaft gear drive

Unnecessarily noisy. A double roller chain is a better choice.

There is no need for gear drive unless you are going to run a mechanical fuel injection unit with it

If you were given a new one free of charge, would you use it ?

I'd sell it while it is new.

Lol..... I can imagine with the timing cover just behind your head it could get a little annoying, but my engine is a little further forward than in the Pantera, (look at my avitar pic).

Did the fellow you spoke with have the Milodon gear drive or one of the other type with two gears that float about ?

I'm led to believe the Milodon drive is nowhere near as noisy, i was more concerned with the stories of breaking things due to harmonics. I don't know if that is true or not ..??
