On stripping my rear suspension I found that when it was previously rebuilt the bloke forgot the bearing retaining plate, it must have fallen in his pit.
Needless to say I am extremely cheesed off, but could anyone perhaps have a spare one they could sell to me, its from a 72 Pantera 3840.
Its number 11 in the picture.

and I am in Stockport in England

Peter, most such parts are available as good-used from the U,S vendors. I've seen such at [larrys@panteraparts.com] in his shop. Likely there are others. The outer wheel bearing is a light press fit in its recess and a moderate press fit on the stub axle, all ensured by the steel retainer plate. The inner bearing floats unrestrained. I'm surprised the assembly stayed together! You must be living right...
agree...you are lucky!

I took a few measurments with a caliper in case you wanted to try a local machine shop.

Bolt circle ~ 4.11"
bolt holes ~ 0.25" (counter sunk)
Inside diameter ~ 3.23"
Outside diameter ~ 4.09"
maximun diameter ~ 4.65"
thickness ~ 0.16"

PS... after some googling, I can't believe I can not find some "standard" as I have seen the same configuration used in many applications
