Is the flow rate on the 2V aussie heads much different than the 4V aussie heads. both having quenched heads.

Yes, but consider that 4V heads may actually flow TOO much air for good street-ability on a stock-displacement engine. Many owners say the smaller-port, smaller-valve 2V types are much more fun in normal driving, due to the throttle response. Incidently I've not seen any Australian-made 4V quench heads. Are you sure they are quench-types?
