All the materials are leather black with dark grey inserts. The radio cut out was filled with fiberglass. The bulk head is stock except we cut the middle out to allow removal of just the hump. The silver knob on the side of the shifter is a reverse lock out. The center console was made by modifying the stock short piece of console in the rear. The two inner shoulder belt mounts were welded studs into the fire wall much like the stock one on the opposite side.

The goal was to keep the flavor of the stock interior yet modernizing it at the same time while getting rid of the stock cheap looking vinyl.
Mine is hard to really see until the upholstery is done. I still got a month or more to go before they re ready for the car.

I really did not like the Pantera steering column trim so I made my own. Turn signal is momentary on left side of dash. Center console aluminum just waiting for upholstery. Windows on console. The ventilation ducts are aftermarket and I like the shape. They look good in the dash.

She sure has a nice pair of d'T's. Smiler

I do see this discussion is going to be very difficult to keep focus on any one interior point?

Where do you want to start?

How about here with a Momo Competition steering wheel on a machined alumuinum adapter?

There is a Wilkinson "quick release" button. Machined out of a 3...something piece of stainless billet.

Under that is a Sparco dual "remote horn button" mounting bracket. No biggie right?

Well in order for power to get to those buttons a dual channel "commutator" needed to be made and hidden in the column.

The right button is the "momentary on" button for the Pantera Electronics "push button start" modification.

The left button is a push on/off button for the electronic shocks.

Hello Comp2; Might I request for a close up image of the console & a listing of each gauge's function, also including the toggle switches?

I believe that some gauges must serve as temperature gauges for the oil, water & transmission?...Thanks!!!...Mark

Here ya go Mark:

A/B switches under temp gauges are so I can check the temps before and after the coolers.

There is also an A/B switch under the air PSI so I can check the air bag pressure or tank pressure.

Dash has fuel gauge on left and oxygen sensor on right. Few more buttons on dash such as brights, trunk release, O2 heater, flasher something else I forget.

Momentary in the dash on the left is actuator for a the turn signal controller.
Air bag is to raise the front end to clear things like the driveway. When you make an aluminum air dam from scratch you tend to want to try to protect it.

I thought about the pattern on the aluminum and also thought about hydro dipping. In the end I think I am just going to go flat black. It kind of goes with the rest of it.
