Dash 1 parts anyone?

This is an FYI post!

Here is a shot of another early dash one-ish synchro ring compared to mine. Unknown is on the left, mine on the right.

While it fits the gear relatively OK, it will not fit the hub...so something changed...... The width is different, and the three rectangular/square bobs on it are also smaller. The fact that it has the extra teeth around the outer ring is interesting, but apparently not needed in the later(?) or other design.

From top, L--> R then bottom L-->R 2-3-4-5. 1-R lives on the counter (pinion gear) shaft!

The synchro on the left is from M-1 series dash 2 type gear box and that is why it will not work in the synchro sliders.
The "extra " teeth are a standard dash 2 synchro item.

I was under the impression that all -2 synchro rings had no grooves in them, and that the gear cones had the grooves?

Was this perhaps the -1.5 that I hear people refer to???
