Well it is finally almost time to take delivery of my new engine. It is a 427 Clevor, being built by McKeown Motorsport engineering in Maryland.
The details I have at this time are as follows:
Dart Iron Eagle block, 9.5 deck, with a 4.125 bore.
Scat Lightweight crank, forged, 4.00 stroke.
Forged connecting rods, 6.200 length.
Forged pistons, target compression is 11:1
CHI 3V, 218 cc heads and matching intake manifold
Manley Stainless steel intake valves
Ferrea Stainless exhaust valves
Jesel Shaft rocker system. Jesel mechanical roller lifters
5/16 push rods
Custom grind mechanical roller cam, I have been told the lift is in the low sixes, maybe .610 to as much as .620?
Right now the plan is to take delivery 1/19/07. I will be there to see it run in and dyno tuned on the engine stand on that date if everything stays on schedule. I am expecting HP of between 600 and 650, with torque at 500+ ft/lbs.
I will post the dyno results after I take delivery.
