Is a male post distributor cap made for the original Ford dual point distributor?

There is no male small diameter cap made for the ford distributor BUT I found a small cap that works.
It is from an International Harvester and is NAPA part number AL162 SB.
I use it on my car because of the Weber carbs amd the wires I use.
I don't have the rotor number but that is no problem. When you buy the cap just ask them for the rotor for it.
Also this is the number for the cap with the aluminum contacts. There is also one with brass terminals which costs more.

Doug, The reason I want to switch to the male cap is that it offers a much wider selection of pre cut wires. Also, I would expect a better fit than the female version. Any recommendation on wires?

I still have the blue 8mm Ford "Motorsport" numbered ones with the 90 degree boots. I like the blue. I'm not sure if Ford Racing still has them listed.
