I was talking out of my rear end about my wish list of 800 HP and I apologize for making a political remark, it will not happen again. Here in my wonderful state of California we have some of the best deep sea fishing, the best year round weather, off roading, water sports at the lower Colorado river, driving aggressively through our beautiful mountains and the crappiest fuel in the country. I would have put 10.5 .1 or greater but, because of the gas situation and I couldn't fine any other standard pistons accept the TRW dish pistons for the 351 C that were setting on a shelf somewhere in B#E off Evil Bay. So saying all that I just picked up another viable standard block with a new stroked rotating assembly from a Ford friend of mine ( I tried to get him to sell it to me 2 months ago) so, I'm looking for some heads with and intake that I can get some more mid range grunt. Anybody have a lead that isn't months out of production and won't cost four million dollars? I,ll run this engina until I get this other one built. One more thing, I have a plastic piece that I don't recall where it came from when I tore this car apart.
What's on the other side?
My best guess, and it is only that because I’ve never had an original in my hands, is that piece is the base plate for the radio delete panel??
nothing else comes to mind.

Looks like it could be fuse block related. Seems to be about the same shape and size.
The circuit ID plate fell off and I put on the work bench. I probably will win 1st place for stupidest question ever asked on this forum. I'm putting the dash back in next, the only thing that concerns me is the little white spacers. I labeled the first couple and then rest just fell out on the floor board.
I understand your concern about the spacers but to tell you the truth, the last time I installed my dashboard I left most of them out. This may put extra stress on the dashboard substructure but I haven’t noticed any squeaks or any adverse effects after a couple thousand miles

That’s the inner side of the stock fuse box cover…
There should be two link screws with big knurled heads to hold it on.
