Hi All,

My 72 appears to have never had the tag around the vin# There are no rivet holes visible from either side. Does this look like the original trunk material ? It has no slot cut in it to see the vin# Anyone else got a car without the tag ?

My '71 only had the stamping (no tag) and the felt was cut out for it. Your felt appears to be the wrong color. It should be black and cut out for the VIN.
