I ordered my 4-post BackYard Buddy lift before Christmas, unfortunately it's not here yet. I had no idea there was such a wait. For thouse who are interested, here's a link to their site with some good pics, also be sure to check out the vid clip of the 'extreme action' where they run into a lift with a forklift. Also a good link to a side-by-side comparison. As I recall, the total was ~$5k, but I figure that a garage lift is not something that you want to go low-bid on. LOL. I'll post some pics when it arrives and I set it up. What are others using?

$5k doesn't buy much of a garage in my area, and I need to stack cars to make room. Cheaper lifts are available, but the LAST thing I would want is to 'wish' I had bought the best lift when I go out in the garage and see a $150,000 car sitting on top of a $75,000 car, and one side of the lift (800 lbs of steel) crashed into the Pantera.. At age 50, I've never been sorry for buying the best tool, I have however been sorry for buying a cheap tool.. Take care
SmilerWell Said - 5K won't even pay for the concrete.

However - you got iy wrong - I would rather see the 150(K) car sitting on top of the 75(K) car if you know what I mean.

I am looking into the same setup -
Cool

Here's my Eagle SS7000. The garage height it just shy of 10'. I've had this for 2years now, use it quite-a-bit, and would not be without it.Very stable even though it is NOT bolted in the base. (because you can get portable skids for it to move the car around if needed). Total cost was just over 3K. (Was their Horsepower TV special at the time)

I assembled it in 5hrs max, came with 3 drip trays, aluminum ramp upgrade (free).

I bought a new 2 post for just under $2,000.
They have 4 post under $2,000 also.

I looked at their 4-post lift. It used stamped channel legs. Looking at the side-by-side comparison video at the backyard buddy site, I personally felt more comfortable with the BB design...
