Hi Chris,

I used engine bearings from a scooter. They have an outside diameter from 30mm x 30mm the inner bushing has a length of 35mm and 10,2mm for the screw.

Maybe the length of the inner bushing needs to be adjusted. For me it wasn't a problem because I changed/reinforced the brackets.

Maybe I could help you.

If you are interested in this bushings I'll look where I ordered it.

Best regards from Germany,

Fabian

I repurposed some shock bushings which happened to fit nicely. Re-used the steel sleeve on the interior.

As you may or may not care; a goose chassis flexes a lot as a result of that trans mount. Other owners box in the ends with welded square stock to prevent all the hinging which is allowed by the factory design.

Indeed, as Scifi mentioned, those bushings ARE the same as the original shock bushings.   Still gummmy rubber that can deform over time, but I think less so than when used as shock bushings!

SOOOO, if you happen to still have the original shocks with a good bushing or two, you may be in luck......otherwise feel free to use the scooter bushings if they fit!!!  No one will complain!

Cheers!
Steve
