NV DMV have a search function you can see what is available beforehand. When Coz & I first made a verbal agreement back in January, I searched and GT5 was available. Because it is less than 5 characters I could have got one of the NV special plates for Hot August Nights or Reno Air Races, but by the time I picked up the car and had title in hand it was gone. My other choice would have been for '81 GT5'. My son picked the one I ended up with and now I have it I think he made a wise choice.
