I HAVE NOTICE THE BATTERIES CABLE RUNS EXPOSED UNDERNEATH MY 1982 GT5 UNDERCARRAGE.
ALSO I HAVE ALUMINIUM SPACER ON THE FRONT AND REAR COIL SPRING. I WONDER IS IT ORIGINAL FACTORY SPEC? I AM ALSO LOOKING FOR A 'PANTERA 2000' MODEL FRONT 'WINDSCREEN SPOILER' TO FIX ON MY GT5. CAN I PURCHASE THEM ANYWHERE IN U.S.?

APPRECIATE VERY MUCH FOR YOUR TIME AND GLAD TOHEAR FROM YOU.

Earliest cars had the cable routed through the rt rocker panel (visible if you pulled the rt seatbelt plate) while later ones routed it thru the console. Either protects the cable from weathering & road debris. The spacers are to lift the car to conform to local headlight- height laws. They also screw up the handling. They can safely be removed (realign the wheels) & your handling (& looks) should improve. Pat Mical at has a complete kit to convert to the Pantera 200 look; the only one I know of presently
