The air filter assembly is Australian Ford, where your motor was sourced. The guys who import salvaged Australian parts to the US, such as used engine blocks and cylinder heads, may be able to locate an air filter assembly for you. Chances are you won't find one here in the states.

Aussies refer to the last generation of Cleveland motors as "metricized" Clevelands. They had black engine blocks with silver valve covers & air filter assemblies. The air filter read "5.8 liters" instead of 351 cubic inches. These were installed in Australian XD and XE Falcons.

fs,

I was under the notion that Windsors were not installed until 1989, I am surprised to read that one was installed in an '87 model. Can you determine by looking at the motor which it is?

If it is true your Pantera is equipped with a Windsor, I think the first question you need to ask Mr Stauffer, if this car had an Amerisport emissions system installed in it. If so, its an entirely different set up.

The Euro Panteras with Windsors had a late model US Ford air filter assembly, vertically quite thin, with a stamped aluminum top and tin bottom, see the pic below. Different than what's in the last photo. I apologize for the poor quality of the pic, my big dollar scanner wouldn't reproduce this picture cleanly.
