Just seen the black GT5 S advertised on PI site. What a car and testermant to our forum host who manages to get these magnificent cars to sell( and for us to admire).
Does anyone know who sells the Hailbrand wheels the car is wearing. I've checked their main website and there seems to be no mention of these wheels. Does anyone know where they can be purchased? Surely, anyone wanting to do a wide-body conversion would want to consider these wheels, budget permiting!

You can buy those wheels from Hall Pantera. I've also seen a white GT-5 with the same wheels. There's also a 3-piece style that looks similar, with small bolts holding it together, which isn't as popular.

Personally I think the Campy replica look, as in Laslo's GT-4 conversion, looks perfect on a widebody since that's the look the factory chose for those particular cars.

as Kevin wrote, they are a Hall Pantera item, called "Ultras". They are not manufactured by Halibrand, nor do they look like Halibrand wheels. They are a rather "flat" Campy clone. Some folks like them, others don't. Take a close look, you'll see they lack the detail of other Campy clones. Wheels are always a topic of heated discussion, and are very subject to personal taste.

OOOps. Hold on. I just realized what is going on. OK guys, Hall Ultra are not REAL knock off hubs. I know what you guys are thinking, you can change wheels and tires by just smaking the spinner with a rubber mallet. No, no, no, it just knoks off the hub so you can get to the lug nuts. It still has special lug nuts, gut this way you don't actualy have to put on a knock off spindle hub. Actualy you don't probably want to run real knock offs on the street. I wouldn't think so. They would probably spin off if you stopped too fast or something. No Hall Ultras are not actual knock off.
Now I know why the fascination.
