FWIW - The hazards only come on when the switch is in the 'out' position. The 'in' position is the off position. I don't know about jumpering the wires - I believe most of the electrical systems in the car go through that switch. I'd check the flasher first. Watch for my article on rebuilding your hazard switch in an upcoming POCA/PCNC Newsletter (I'll post it on my website at that time too).

Cheers!

JK..Thanks for the info to the Pantera Place wiring diagram. From that simplified picture, I was able to see that the hazard has two hot feeds to it. When I got under the dash and put my test light to the green and red leads, I found the green wire had no power. I jumpered the power from the red wire to the green, hit the button and voila, the lights started flashing. I remembered seeing a green wire in my fuse box that was not connected to anything. I put power to it and sure enough, it went to the hazard connector. So I plugged it in behind the #8 fuse and the system works fine. The switch lights and flashes. Hope I never need to use it...but its nice to know its there if I do need it. Thanks again. Tim
