I installed the low profile headlights and discovered the car had some body damage on the drivers side at one time. The drivers side upper fender around the headlight is new sheet metal.
had some fitment issues but got that taken care of but, the drivers headlight is 3/8” higher than the passenger. Does anyone know how or if that rod is adjustable? If I could get the drivers side to tilt down 3/8” it would be perfect.

...The Housing MOUNTING PLATES are Welded to the Cross Tube, there is No Adjustment There.
I would try Longer Bolts and 3/8" Spacers for the UPPER Fasteners.

Hi Dan,
I had that trouble, my offside headlight was hitting the wing because the car had had an accident before I bought it and that wing was 17mm higher than the other.
I cured it by cutting the tube and putting in an adjuster to sort it out.

As Marlin said, lots of ways to fix but none are simple 'adjustments'. Note the connecting tube for the two buckets rotates in split nylon bushings in lightweight sheet metal brackets inside the fenders. It's possible one or both brackets are twisted a little. Or one bracket has no bushing. The vendors stock spares and they replace fairly easily.
Before you start bending and twisting you could just try using a washer or spacer between the headlight bucket and bracket on the passenger side to raise it up and then if necessary adjust your micro switches to reset the stop positions.

moving on with the car, we adjusted it to look good closed. We already have 10hrs plus messing with the lights, getting the car drivable then addressing this in the future.
