I installed a new turn signal switch a couple weeks ago because the plastic in the old switch cracked and the stalk was just dangling, (I know a common problem of old age) I purchased a new switch from Roland Jaekel a while back but did not get to install it until 2 weeks ago. It had an additional wire pigtailed into one of the contacts that was not in the original switch. For some reason the horn does not work now with the stock horn button. I know the fuse and horn are working because I have a Painless Wiring RF switch in the center of my steering wheel and the horn activates when the button dedicated to the horn is pushed. (It used to work when either button was pushed) Problem with just using the RF switch is that it activates a relay which activates the horn which has a slight delay in it. (not a good thing when you need someone's attention RIGHT NOW!!!)

The new switch did not have the plastic plug on it so I had to reuse the old one. I took the time to make sure I replaced the wires one at a time and everything else is working. The only difference I could see between the old and new switch was the extra "pigtail"

Any ideas?

Thanks
