How does it fit? Outside door trim.

Hi,
I have just got a lot of parts back from the powder coater including the outside trim. A nice satin black. My question is how does the trim piece fit on the outside of the door. This is #49 here. PI door and related parts
Does this trim piece fit over the lip that is at the top of the door where the door skin is spot welded?
Are there small screws that attach the trim?
So the screw goes from the inside, through the trim and screws into the spot welded piece at the top of the door?
You then have other screws that attach the window felt?
My car has been apart for a looooong time so I cant remember.

you are correct. there are 4 (in 72-L), one is at the very front behind the 1/4 window. the other three are distributed along the door weld you mentioned. The weather strip, whiskers, are also held by screws, very, very tiny screws. Some people use 3M double sided tape to fix the strips instead of screws. If you don't have the screws, you might try specialty woodworking supply houses for their miniature trim screws.
