Installation question regarding an engine with 180° headers

I don't think so. You won't be able to get the engine high enough for them to drop into the pocket in front of the rear wheels.

The roof is in the way of getting the engine high enough.

is there a happy place where the the engine is 90% located but still up a little to make the job easier?

Installing 180's is a function of working from the top of the engine but also from the side thru the rear wheel wells. The left side is a little more difficult due to the fuel tank being in the way.

Much more difficult with the engine in.

Difficult is a relative term. Bolting up any headers in a Pantera is relatively easy.

Difficult would be something like bolting up headers in a 67 427 Mustang.

If this is all too tough maybe a conversion to a Tesla electric motor is in store for you?

Not sure- there are several styles of 180s. One uses two individual pipes, one on each side, with the other pipes grouped in threes, to make completing the set of 4 on each bank easier. Another has all 4 on each side as a welded set. Do you actually have a set of 180s yet?

Yes I have a set of 180s on the engine what is outside the car on a stand.

Have installed and removed often. Dry Sump 351C. Take your time and have someone assist with moving the angle of the ZF.

Whatever you do, don't hang the engine on the intake manifold.

that is a nice looking motor, and I was nervous with weight without the headers. I may try this on the pull out coming up here.
