They are common to 275GTB/4, Mistral, ISO.

I purchased mine from Sergio Castellani but unfortunately our communications and language difference ended-up costing me more than double the posted price once lights landed here.

These lights were used in a host of late 60's and early 70's Italian cars. As with many things De Tomaso, there will be differences from car to car (and early to late). My 1970 car (8Ma1114) has two different lights. The cabin light is identical to that in the cabin of my 1971 Pantera. The Mangusta front trunk light however has an on-off dial. I have not had much luck finding a replacement source for that style however I was fortunate in that mine could be freshened up to look quite decent. Hopefully you only require the white lens which does seem to be interchangeable.

Johnny makes an excellent suggestion regarding the LED bulbs. Thanks for that!

I bought the version with the adjustment wheel from Sergio Castellani (great item) but also ended up paying twice the product cost due to shipment charges. Need to figure out how to avoid that in the future ... AutoEpoca (sp?) has an amazing selection of parts.

Wanted to show the new part, along with the melted bits of the original needing replacement (Johnny, thanks for the good idea, normal bulbs clearly toast these pricey items with time!). Second shot shows the back...same as the original.

I had the same light configuration as Mark....wheel adjusters front & back, non-switched version in the passenger compartment. Does Steve Wilkinson sell the adjustable version or just the 'fixed' type?

The difference between the two types of lights, switched or not switched.....allows you to purchase a non-switched version and cut a notch in it if you want to use it in a switched version.

Watch the chrome!

I put a new bezel on my engine compartment lamp, and promptly lost it somewhere out on the road.......so I can't say how well the new bezels really work as replacements based upon this one experience......

If there was a way to just get the white lens, it would be possible to repair some of our lamps! I do have an empty chrome bezel....probably from the engine bay (probably melted but not from the bulb!) That I would like to refurb!!!

WAY back when, I brought a bag full of these things back for Larry up in Reno (PPC) after one of my trips to the factory! But that was decades ago.....and are probably gone...

Yes, the original bulb will melt the white plastic if you leave your doors open for an extended period of time! I suggest that you don't do that.....! ...until you get an LED bulb!

Any Bulb numbers handy for replacement LED versions?

Steve
