Is there a replacement for dzus fasteners?

I'm pretty sure most people don't use anything at all to fasten it in. Just drop it in and go. I never fasten mine in, but I did cover the bottom of it with felt so not to scrub up the paint in the engine bay.

I see the original D-Zus come up for sale on ebay every now and then. I'll bet some of the vendors may stock them too. Start with Wilkinson. Chuck Melton seems to have one of everything in his garage.

The exact oem D-Zus is no longer made, but there are some nice new D-Zus style fasteners available. Check out a race equipment supplier like Pegasus.

I still fasten my tub in place, I still have ALL of the original fasteners.

INZOWHO you are probably right, I guess if it were cheap though I would get replacements nonetheless. Thanks for the thought.

Thanks Cowboy, I will try wilkinson. I have most of mine but not all. Are yours completely rusted like mine? I broke some of the plates off trying to remove the luggage tray they were so corroded.

I bought some from Wilkinson's last week. Identical to those I already had, new ones are Cadnium dipped, My old ones were Zinc plated. Not so expensive, ($9.39 ea) not worth the hastle of hunting anywhere else.

Thanks, do they have the plate that the fasteners fit through that rivet to the sheet metal in the trunk?

I have all mine but was too scared to put the luggage tray back in as I thought it would rub the paint and scuff it, being gloss black I thought it would show quickly.
Or am I wrong ?? ( It has happened before !!)

See if you can find A distributor for Spaenaur. Their part number for the Pantera fastener is 110-062 available in Zinc plating [full retail for these is 10.69ea, sold in boxes of 10, can't complain about price] I did not look-up the base/plate number but I remember seeing it in the catalogue. There was also another supplier Southco, but I didn't do much research in their cataloque. Hope this helps. If you can't find drop me a PM and I will go to the store.

I bought some from Hall back in 2000 @ $7.00 ea. I only use 4 of them to lock down my tub when I travel & have 3-4 extras. Will be happy to send you my extras @ the $7.00 cost if they'll do you any good.

I found that Camloc fittings work just as good. I got them at a race shop in Gasolene Alley here in Indy. I found the link below doing a search for Camloc. Under $3 a piece.
