Just checked out PI motorsports new brakes. They look sweet!! Finally a brake system that sounds like it'll do the job at a price that is within this world.

325mmx32mm rotors all around with the e-brake included. Seems like a well thought out sustem.

I've had stop-tech's on my Viper and those were the best brakes I've ever used (compared to Brembos). These look like they'd be just as good if not better but for about 2 grand less!! can't wait to here reports

I saw them as well. Look real beefy. The rotors, in particular, look very nice. I'm not impressed with the white text that's painted on the caliper though. Painted on text just looks kind of cheap if the caliper isn't embossed. I'd rather have a solid color caliper, but I suppose it's easy enough for me to buy em and repaint.

They still sound like they're gonna be more expensive than some of the brake systems that Pantera Performance has. All the different systems make me dizzy though. Would be incredibly cool to see a good comparison between the different systems.
Thanks fellas' The lettering is just stickers that can be removed. This was done just for photographs. They can be plain or have the name engraved. They can be any color like red, yellow, polished out or ? We took a lot of time to put this system together and the goal was not only to have a very powerful system at a decent price that was thousands less than the Brembo, but to also put in the components and parts needed at one price. go to PI motorsports for the pics. The kit requires you have at least 17" wheels. Everything is included from what I understand but I am having a new master cylinder and proportioning valve installed because I race. Stainless lines are provided...it really doea look like a great set up!!

I am not doing the install. Just don't want to do it...
OK. I have had the brakes for a couple of days. Now the manufacturer says to break them in for a couple hundred miles...pfft, I don't see why. Well, I can finally slow down going over 100. Braking is even and no pull. I am still to get more improvement as everything settles in, but so far I am VERY pleased. many compliments but most importantly the performance is there. Good job PI
Most brake pads have "stuff" on the surface that needs to be burned out. Most reasons manufacturers tell people to take it easy is that the brakes do not have the stopping power with this "stuff" in them. Thus, take it easy until all is burned out.

I just took the car out for some 10mph-100mph-10mph cycles until the pads smoked. They perform much better now. To me that is proper break in. In any case, great brakes!!!
We are very pleased you like the new brakes. We offer the system as a kit with all the little pieces you need to assemble the system. Having driven cars like Vipers, Porsches and even the new Ford GT, we wanted to give the Pantera brakes that were in the same constellation. Everybody can make power, abundant power, however, stopping is critical and we think this system is the best for the money. We have sold Brembo systems in the past, which are still wonderful, but these come as a full kit and are considerably less money. Please keep us posted on the performance of the system. Dave
