looking for a dyno and rebuild

I have moved into a condo, I have zero room to rebuild my engine, can anyone suggest a engine builder who can static run the completed engine and also dyno it on the central coast of ca.??? The engine was done by a old friend ( famous racer) who passed away shortly after he put together the current engine, it has a number of major oil leaks and must come out.

Don't be limited to a small geographic radius in CA and come to Orange County. Get the best of the best, the top gun of Clevelands - Russ Fulp - to do your rebuild.

He did my motor and I recommend him highly.

You do not need a German Rocket Scientist to rebuild this thing unless you are going to seriously go racing. Even then this engine is very hearty and doesn't take alot at all. Basically just sleeving the lifter bores.

It really is childsplay.

Bring it to me. I speak English and the INS isn't looking for me. I'll do it.

I have rebuilt the engine before and could do it again, but, I have really no space to work on it and the environment is unclean, beach, sand, that said the motor is dynoing at 497 H.P. it is a race more than street engine and I want to up the numbers.

500hp is around the limitations of the car. Looking for more is not exactly just a rebuild either.

Simplest way is just to put a stroker kit in it. Having said that though, 427 of anything is no longer what is commonly refereed to as a small block.

The characteristics of the car are very different then.

Going that route is just starting the hour glass on a very expensive ZF rebuild. When, who knows, but eventually and then periodically from then on.

I'm not aware of anyone on the Central coast.

The closest shop I could refer you to at this time would be Jim Grubbs Racing in Valencia. Russ Fulps has served the Pantera community well, although I haven't met him in person, he seems to be a man of integrity.

I live in a condo too. I understand the transition you're going through. I found a storage unit in the Ventura Marina that meets my needs, it replaced my garage. But I have to abide by their hours. Best wishes with your transition.
