They are held in place by square flat metal tabs which have teeth that lock onto the studs. If the studs and tabs are still on, try pushing down with a correctly sized nutdriver, this will set the teeth better. You might be able to find replacement tabs at autoparts stores (try paint shops as they often have trim fastners for sale).

Otherwise, just use glue to fasten the studs to the metal on the back side.
Not on my 71!, I recently removed both rear emblems. They were held in place with what we call a typical Ford barrel clip. It is inserted through the hole from the outside. It has a small flange on the end that keeps it from going all the way through the hole when the emblem is inserted. I would think you should be able to get them from a body shop supply. These were used on early 70's Ford products.
Roverltd,Lastpushbutton thanks for your response.I knew what i needed i just did not know the correct part name and wanted to hear from other Pantera owners. I went to Auto Zone and purchased an assortment of tubular nuts and push nuts for four dollars, problem solved. #7260
