Hi Mikael,
The answer is no. I even went with a smaller light to see if it could be done without cutting the buckets and turns out, no can do!
If you get lights that would fit in the opening without enlarging it, the look isn't right. They become squeezed into the center of the bucket.
I am working on a new design myself that will be a very low opening version...

I hope to have them done over the summer as I have too many projects going at the same time! I think they will be worth waiting for but thats just me...
