I am in the process of rebuilding my 351C. Today, I went to assemble the main bearings and I was using Federal Mogul Part Number 4925 M10 which is a .010 undersized bearing. Unfortunately, the center bearing had the locator on the wrong side along with the rear main had both the locator on the wrong side but also was too narrow to go over the journal. Has anyone else run into this problem and does anyone have a recommendation for a good main bearing that will fit properly. Thanks.....

Doug only the uppers are grooved, I don't think you can purchase them fully grooved any longer. But I whole heartedly agree with Doug, I like the Clevite 77 bearing, its a very tough bearing. The one drawback is they don't have the embeddability that other bearings do, so there is a greater chance debris will score your journals. The solution is to keep the oil & filter changed regularly.
