Dave, thanks for sharing the pictures. Its stuff like this that other owners really like, it gives them ideas for their own cars, and helps them figure out how to accomplish certain jobs. A pic is worth a 1000 words.

Its sharing like this that makes the DTBB the hip place for Pantera info.

I especially like the color you chose! (mine's silver too). I like the bumperless look outback too.

Hey Dave, this thing is really turning out beautiful. I've been thinking about a big stripe too. I'd have to do mine in black with my red and black paint.
Do I spy Vitaloni Baby Turbos? I've got 'em too in power. That helps backing up the car so you can point them down to see the curb.
What is that I see inside the left rear wheel well where the gas tank is?
It looks like a scoop exit?
Really, really nice. Very classy/handsome in silver.
Are those your Campi's for sale on ebay?

Looking FANTASTIC Dave! I agree with George, the silver is vey sharp, it shows off the body lines, and the wheels...and on and on, two thumbs up.

How long have you been after the restoration now? Who's doing your work, or are you doing your own?

Regards Mark 6808
...........hi mark, been working on car 2 yrs now (on and off), but have kicked it in to high gear recently! now that i have a garage to work in ,(see shop and garage talk) it makes life alot easier, the car WILL BE DONE by next spring........i will attemt to do almost anything myself, i stripped the car and prepped for paint, (has some imperfections),its not a concourse paint job,but it came out ok, i will have a few spots taken care of after i get her completely finished,it was my first attempt at body work, so i did not expect perfection. i welded up the holes and did all the body work, and my painter just shot the car for me.i had it back in one week !! i media blast all my own parts and refinish them. i have learned alot from ALL you guys on the board, theres so many freindly, helpful, SMART people here, its a great place to hang out and learn !!! my car wont be PERFECT, but i take pride in saying i did it myself Smiler..........the only things i wont be doing myself are building the motor and trans ( lets leave that to the professionals!) Big Grin............THANX TO ALL ON THE BOARD FOR YOUR HELP, COMPLIMENTS, AND ENCOURAGEMENT.............................DAVE

Were did you get your DETOMASO GT5 letters from?
.............hi mark, none of the vendors had them, so i had my my local sign guy make me a full set of them in satin black, they look as nice as the originals , and less than 1/2 the cost!......................DAVE

Dave could you get another set and what was the price?
...............mark, i think i paid 85.00 for the entire set!! (both sides) the letters are not EXACTLY as original , but very close, they look great on the car, i think he said he would save it in his computer for future referance,he can do any color you want, mine are in satin black, and i applied them myself...........DAVE
Super work & a great looking color Dave. I see you changed out the brake booster & master cylinder. Was it from one of the vendors (who?) & did you have to "malletize" the inner fenderwell to get it to fit?? Would like to do this on my car as my next project. Thanks!
