Hi All, had a quesion for those that have dealt with replacing or repairing rusty water necks. Mine has corroded to almost nothing under the hose, so it seems like a good time to consider purchasing one of the new 'adjustable' units that let you rotate the neck portion however you want (the Goose orientation is opposite of a generic Ford setup). This solves the problem of fabricating a new neck, with the added bonus of allowing use of a thermostat - Summit for one sells them. Anybody done this? Looks like it will fit, just not sure if it would impact water flow / cooling. Guess the thermostat could always be removed if created problems..!
