Richard, did you also buy the shocks?

I would have liked to get them so I could send them to Koni and that way the car is not down (sans shocks for 8-10 weeks). If that was your intent please advise, I would like to do same.

Denis

ps there was also another bidder in the bunch.

I gave a bid of $300.00 for the shocks, but was over bid in the last few seconds. I did not bid that high because I only wanted one front shock. One of my front shocks was lost in transit last year when I sent all four to Koni to be rebuilt. I now have a set of aftermarket shocks from Wilkinson Pantera on the front, but would like to find another Koni front to be able to have Koni's at all four corners. I am sure one will turn up eventually.
Fellow Mangusta owners, I have contacted Koni for replacement shocks; 1- There are no new Koni’s available for Mangustas so they need to rebuild the originals. Unless you require a change of valving they would build them to the factory settings, 2-The overhaul service charge is $125.00 per shock plus parts. $30.00 to $65.00 approx per shock dependant on condition not including eye bushings. The bushings if needed are $35.00 each.
3.-The turnaround time is 2-3 weeks.

Does that sound right Bob?
