I am not getting ANY reading from my oil pressure gauge at all. I think this happened when I loosened the entire panel and looked under it to see the wiring and fix the gauge lights, but I am not sure. I would like to install a mechanical oil pressure gauge on the engine to make sure all is OK before I do anything else. Can anyone tell me where this is mounted and where to get one? Thanks!

The sensor wire probably fell off. A cheap mechanical oil pressure gauge will probably be much more accurate than your stock electric gauge anyway. Kragens, Pep Boys etc sell them. A short pipe nipple and a matching tee fitting are all thats needed. Remove the stock sending unit from the rear of the block, behind the intake. Screw the nipple into the block in its place and the tee onto the nipple. Addd the stock sending unit in the side of the tee, add the mechanical gauge to the top of the tee and you're done. I suggest using teflon pipe-tape on all these connections. My mechanical gauge has been there since 1989. I use the stock gauge as an idiot-light as its wildly inaccurate.
