Looking for a set of Original Vitaloni Californian mirrors, with the steel base.
I saw Mr Pences advertisement just too late.
I just bought what I thought were a pair, but very cheap and nasty plastic ones that I have now returned.

Hello Eric, are they the real Vitaloni ones or the all plastic copycat ones?

Demon Tweeks in the UK advertises them GBP36.50 a side, which works out cheaper that most are selling for here in the US and no Intl shipping.

Peter, just for your info I have the Vitaloni California on 6174. However I found that they should be mounted so far back on the Door were the Door is level. If you mount them more forward were the Door Panel slopes up you will not be able to see straight rearwards but looking more down and you will just see the Asphalt behind you.......
I did not like them being so far back as I would have to turn my head too much and away from Traffic ahead to get a look in the Mirror.
The solution for me was to heat up the sort of flat Stalk with an electrical heat Gun and twist the Mirror body carefully upwards. It takes about 10-15min to heat it up without damaging the surface too much, but the result is really good. If you want I will be happy to provide some detailed Photos.

Factory GT5 with Vitaloni's mounted at the forward edge of the door, no rear vision problems. I did the common mod on the passenger side and took a Dremel tool to the ball socket so the glass angled further.

Hi Julian, thanks for info. I tried even two sets from different Vendors in the UK but they were the same profile ;-( I will try and order a set from the Vendor you mentioned and maybe I have better luck with them

Thanks Julian, I am heading to NYC next Week anyway and I will have a set shipped to our local Agent in Teterboro. He is getting used to deal with my Spare Part habits
