Mounting roof spoiler

OK, Emeory...Looks like in the pic.. the top is the front.. take a pic with it on the deck facing that way and let us look. hard to tell without a wind tunnel to test in.

I believe that the front is at the top in your photo.

Emery, have you not been reading the posts on stock cars? %^))

Best as I can recollect, the spoiler/wing sits relatively parallel to the ground.

Sorry I don't have a sarcastic answer to add. Nor do I know the answer to your question. But, judging from your picture, there is a difference in how your orient the spoiler.

Air foil shape faces forward. So that would be the thickest part.

Anybody got a real GT-5 with the answer? How about Coz!

I checked it on my GT5. Maybe I'm nuts, but the wing seems identical either way. Same thickness, same dimension. However, as the rear deck is wider at the back end of the car than it is at the front end at the roof line, then the best thing would be to lay it on the car and look at the fit at the mounting points of the wing. See my red arrows!

Oh I see now Deeb. It isn't an air foil at all but like a hood scoop sort of thing that redirects the air flow more downward. Probbaly really helps the real air foil on the rear to get a better flow over its wing surface. Cool.

Hey, do the two rear spoilers actually do something besides create drag?

Yes emery, they are a vital part of blocking off your rearward vision. WIthout these components you might actualy see what is closing in on you. Most distressing.

The two wings combine to carefully to divert all exiting air from under the car causing it to roll directly against the rear face of the car. THis ensures that the white turns brown within a few hours. This is gresat as it is the only surface on the car that is hard to clean - inside the rear light pods, around the Detomaso Pantera GT5 lettering, the license plate, and the rear bumper. Did I mention how much I like white Cats?

From what I have been told, it is more decorative and not functional anymore than it was on the Ferrari Boxers that had them in the early '80s. Personally I think it looks neat though.

Yeh but I saw Elvis, George, and he had a Pantera, full of bullet holes too!

With the two spoilers, the delta wing and the roof spoiler you can use them for a ladder rack.
