Does anyone know what this is for. I go it 16 years ago as spare parts when I bought my 73 Pantera. It is a housing for a cable. Steel coil lined inside. Black plastic/rubber cover. The box does not have a part number on it that I can read. It is 57 3/8 inches.

Just a guess, but possibly a throttle cable sheath.

I thought of that too, but it wouldn't be almost 5 feet long.
